About

Hello and welcome to my blog.

I am a happy dad of a wonderful girl, who is a passionate chess player and an avid artistic gymnast.

Unfortunately, my little girl suffers from Atopic Dermatitis – a sort of eczema – a skin problem, which, when active – its symptoms are rash, itchiness, red skin and general lack of comfort of the sufferer.

On this blog, I would like to share with you some ways that I have experimented with (it was a long way – it started six years ago and I tried a plethora of products, clothes, foods) that helped to get my daughter’s condition under control – right now she almost doesn’t realize that she suffers from AD or eczema (although she is aware of course, as she needs some daily maintenance to keep it under control) – and the symptoms show up very rarely and are quite mild – than God for this.
I used to live in Asia for over 10 years but due to economic and marriage crisis last year, I moved back to Europe with my daughter. My wife was supposed to follow us here – but for some reason, she changed her mind and decided to stay in Asia. So now I am raising my little girl on my own. It’s not very easy, but it is possible – and it is a very rewarding experience – to see her growing up and becoming more and more mature every day, even though she’s only 8 (as of Oct 2016).

I am a very private person and I want my daughter’s identity to stay private as well – so forgive me for not sharing our photos here – once something is published on the internet – it stays here forever. I will only use already existing images available online to depict symptoms of eczema. Maybe also occasionally some photos of my daughter’s skin – but without revealing her face, etc. – I hope you understand.

Feel free to ask me questions, I do not call myself an expert – but I can say I know a thing or two about eczema, skin disorders and treating them properly.

Best wishes and stay positive – always,

Moritz
